High-quality PANAMA veneered birch plywood is made from a combination of layers of 0.5mm and 1.0mm thick veneer sheets, interleaved with layers of 1.0mm thick facing boards, resulting in a lightweight and work-friendly modeling plywood.
Due to its low own weight (about 700 kg/m3 - that is, about 10 - 15% lighter than standard birch plywood) and very good mechanical parameters (good stiffness, low susceptibility to deformation), PANAMA plywood is particularly recommended for the creation of fuselage structures in lightweight model aircraft or for ribbed structures filling the hulls of light, high-speed motor boats.
