The “Stratified” Rock Wall – Simple and Realistic!

With the hand-painted “Stratified” rock wall, made of textured rigid foam, you can quickly and easily create impressive rock walls in your model. The lightweight panel is made from NOCH’s popular textured rigid foam, making it very easy to work with. The material can be sawed, cut, and shaped—either as a whole or in sections.

The rock panel made of textured rigid foam is very lightweight yet stable, and the “Stratified” rock panel also looks incredibly realistic. The rock element can be easily shaped with a modeling knife and cut to size.

Step-by-step guide to the perfect rock wall:

First, cut the slabs to size with a sharp knife or a hand saw, then smooth them with a fine-grit file. You can also reshape the rock slabs by carefully heating them with a hair dryer. Once the rock slabs have reached the desired shape, they are integrated into the landscape. For this purpose, use contact adhesive, all-purpose adhesive, or hot-melt adhesive. Alternatively, however, rock slabs can be attached by pressing them into the mixture before it has fully hardened. In this way, entire rock formations can be incorporated into the landscape. It is also possible to paint all hard foam products later with any paint. It is best to use NOCH landscape modeling paints for this purpose.
