The ET22-series six-axle electric locomotive owned by PKP was produced between 1969 and 1989, with a total of 1184 units produced for PKP. TheET22 is therefore the most produced electric locomotive in Poland and all of Europe. In addition, 23 units were exported to Morocco in 1975-1976 .The locomotive's hourly power is 3120 kW, and its top speed is 125 km/h .This versatile machine is capable of pulling freight trainsets weighing more than 3,000 tons at a speed of 70 km/h.The locomotive, with aco'co'axle arrangement ,seamlessly reaches its maximum speed while also driving a fully loaded passenger train set weighing up to 700 t . It can be found on almost
every electrified route. Thanks to itsfantastic timeless appearance, it has earned a special place in the hearts of Polish railroad enthusiasts. Good operation, apt changes, improvements and modernization from the beginning until today are theET22 series locomotives.

With the ET22 class electric locomotive, PIKO once again offers an outstanding model of an iconic Polish locomotive and, in this case, a vehicle of particularly high value for PKP fans. The PIKO ET22 has its strengths: excellent painting and printing, filigree pantographs, precisely positioned lamp areas, digitally switchable cab lighting, and front and rear lights that operate according to the direction of travel. Lighting is provided by LEDs. The model has a die-cast zinc frame and a five-speed motor with flywheel. The five-speed motor with flywheel masses for excellent ride and two diagonally arranged traction tires for high tractive forces, which are arranged diagonally on the inner axles of both bogies The bogies are arranged diagonally. Attachable dummy brake lines are included with the model.
